Yeşil Mercimek Yemeğinin Yanına Ne Gider?
Baklagillerden bir tanesi olan yeşil mercimek, hem besin değeri yüksek olan besinlerden bir tanesidir, hem de yemekleri son derece lezzetli olmaktadır. Eski zamanlardan bu yana Anadolu’nun özellikle Akdeniz Bölgesi’nde, Marmara’da, Güney Doğu Anadolu ve Ege Bölgeleri’nde yetiştirilmektedir.
Mercimek, demir içermesi bakımından özellikle kansızlık sorunu yaşayan kişiler tarafından sıkça tüketilmesi gereken besinler arasında yer almaktadır. Buna ek olarak zihinsel bakımdan yorulan kişilere de protein sağlaması bakımından önemli bir yere sahiptir. Bunlara ek olarak anne sütünün artırılmasını da sağlamaktadır.
Yeşil mercimek, oldukça pratik bir biçimde pişirilebilmektedir. Yalnızca çorba olarak da tüketilebilen yeşil mercimeğin yemeği de oldukça leziz olmaktadır. Yanına hazırlanacak bir atıştırmalık ya da yardımcı yemek ile de tam bir öğün sağlanması oldukça kolay olacaktır.
Yeşil Mercimek Nasıl Pişirilir?
Oldukça kolay bir tarifi bulunan yeşil mercimeğin pişirilmesi için öncelikle malzemeler hazırlanmalıdır. Buna göre;
- İki su bardağı kadar yeşil mercimek,
- Orta boy bir adet kuru soğan,
- Domates salçası ve sıvı yağ,
- Domates,
- Biber temel malzemelerdir.
İlk olarak yeşil mercimekler iyice yıkanarak uygun büyüklükte bir tencereye konur ve ardından içine üzerini geçecek miktarda su eklenerek mercimeklerin iyice haşlanması sağlanır. Haşlama işlemi tamamlandıktan sonra, suyu süzülen mercimekler bir kenarda bekletilir. Bu sırada bir başka tencerede soğanlar sıvı yağ ile kavrulur ve ardından üzerine salça eklenir.
Salçadan hemen sonra küçük küçük doğranmış olan domates ve biberler de tencereye eklenerek iyice kavrulmaları sağlanır. Bu karışıma mercimekler eklenir ve mercimekleri geçecek kadar yaklaşık 4 bardak kadar su eklenir, tuzu da bu sırada atılır. Bu su ile mercimekler ortalama yarım saat pişirilir. Yeşil mercimek yemeği bu şekilde hazırlanmış olur.
Yeşil Mercimek Yanında Ne Gider?
Yeşil mercimek, genel olarak diğer yemek türleri ile uyum sağlayan bir lezzettir. Yemeğin yanına alternatif bir ek olarak;
- Şehriye içermeyen beyaz bir pirinç pilavı yapılabilir.
- Sade bir bulgur pilavı yapılabilir.
- Arzu edilirse yalnızca salatalık ve yoğurtla cacık hazırlanabilir.
- Yeşil mercimek yemeğinin yanında çok güzel giden bir başka alternatif ise eriştedir. Hem pişirmesi kolay hem de lezzetli olan bir yemek olarak erişte, genellikle yeşil mercimek çorbasının içine de eklenebilmektedir.
- Yeşil mercimek yemeğinin yanında bir atıştırmalık olarak yufka ile hazırlanmış bir börek de oldukça lezzetli bir öğün olacaktır.
