Günümüzde pek çok rahatsızlığın tedavi aşamasında antibiyotik ilaçlara başvurulabilmektedir. Daha çok bakteriyel enfeksiyon rahatsızlıklarının tedavisinde kullanılan antibiyotikler, vücutta zararlı mikroorganizmaların türemesini engelleyerek bu organizmaların yok edilmesini sağlarlar. Yoğun tesirli olan antibiyotiklerin kesinlikle uzman doktora kontrolü altında alınması gerekmektedir. Bilinçsizce kullanılan bu ilaçlar, ciddi sağlık sorunlarına sebebiyet verebilir.
Antibiyotik Kullanılırken Alkol Alınır mı?
Hali hazırda antibiyotik tedavisi altında olan ve alkol alışkanlığına sahip bir çok kişi, antibiyotik kullanırken alkol alınıp alınamayacağını merak ederler. Tedavi amaçlı alınan antibiyotikler, bakterileri yok etmelerinin yanı sıra karaciğerde bulunan hidrojenaz enziminin çalışma yapısını etkiler. Hidrojenazın esas görevi; bünyedeki alkolü vücuttan uzaklaştırmaktır. Kullanılan bir takım antibiyotikler ise bu karaciğer enziminin işlevini bozabilir ve enzimin bloke olması tetiklenebilir.
Yani antibiyotik kullanan bir kişinin bu süreçte alkol alması halinde, karaciğer enzimi işlevini tam anlamıyla yerine getiremez ve alkol bünyeden uzaklaştırılamadığı için alkolün etkileri normaldekinden daha fazla olur. Tedavi esnasında içki içmek, vücutta alkolün zararlarını daha şiddetli kılabilir. Bu yüzden antibiyotik kullanılırken, alkol alınması tavsiye edilmez. İlaç tedavisinin bitmesinin beklenmesi önerilir.
Antibiyotik İçtikten Kaç Saat Sonra Alkol Alınabilir?
Antibiyotik tedavisinde iken alkol kullanımı kesinlikle tavsiye edilmez. İlaç içtikten ortalama 12 saat sonra alkol tüketilebileceği düşünülse de, antibiyotik alınan gün içerisinde her ne olursa olsun alkol almamakta fayda vardır. İlaç tedavisi sonlanana kadar, içki içme alışkanlığından uzak durulması vücut sağlığı için faydalı olacaktır.
