Mayonez Nasıl Saklanır?
Yemeklerin lezzetini arttırmak için çeşitli soslar kullanılır. Farklı farklı birçok çeşit sos bulunmaktadır. Ancak bazı soslar oldukça fazla kullanılır. Daha lezzetli yemekler elde etmek için kullanılan sosların başında gelenler ise ketçap ve mayonezdir. Özellikle kızartma, et ve tavuk yemeklerinin birçok çeşidi ile birlikte sık kullanıldıkları için bu sosların saklanma koşullarına dikkat etmek gerekir. Aksi takdirde ciddi sağlık problemlerine neden olabilir.
Özellikle mayonezin saklanması oldukça önemlidir. Bunun nedeni ise yapımında kullanılan malzemelerdir. Mayonez temel olarak yumurta, limon ve yağ kullanılarak yapılır. Mayonezin içerisindeki yumurtanın çiğ olmasından dolayı saklanma koşulları daha da önem kazanır.
Bozuk mayonez tüketmek ciddi zehirlenmelere sebebiyet verir. Bu nedenle mayonezlerin saklanma koşulları açık olup olmamaları ile doğrudan orantılıdır. Bunun yanı sıra ev yapımı olup olmaması da önemli etkenlerden biridir.
1-)Açılmış Mayonez Saklama Yöntemleri
Mayonezlerin saklanma koşullarındaki en önemli etken açılmış mı yoksa kapalı mı olduğudur. Açılmış mayonezleri içerisinde çiğ yumurta olmasından dolayı mutlaka buzdolabında saklamalısınız. Yumurta çabuk bozulan besinlerden olduğu için dışarıda kalması kullanım süresini kısaltmaktadır. Bu nedenle mayonezi açtıktan sonra mutlaka buzdolabında muhafaza etmelisiniz.
Kullanıldıktan sonra dışarıda bekletilmeden dolaba geri konulmalıdır. Hazır alınan mayonez kullanıyorsanız, 3 aya kadar rahatlıkla kullanabilirsiniz. Ancak kullanılan katkı maddelerine göre bu süre değişiklik gösterebilir.
Mayonezi yediğiniz zaman ekşi-acı bir tat almıyorsanız, mayoneziniz bozulmamış demektir ve bu durumdaki mayonezi son tüketim tarihine kadar kullanabilirsiniz. Açmış olduğunuz mayonez ev yapımı ise 3-4 gün içinde tüketilmesinde fayda vardır. Buzdolabında dahi saklansa 1 haftadan fazla tüketilmemelidir. İçinde katkı maddesi olmadığı için ev yapımı mayonezler çabuk bozulur. Sağlık açısından ev yapımı mayonezleri mutlaka cam kavanozlarda saklayın.
2-)Açılmamış Mayonez İçin Saklama Yöntemleri
Henüz açmamış olduğunuz mayonezi saklamak oldukça kolaydır. Kapalı olan mayonezleri kileriniz varsa kilerde saklayabilirsiniz. Kileriniz yoksa ışık almayan serin ve kuru bir ortamda son kullanma tarihine kadar muhafaza edebilirsiniz. Ancak mayonezinizi kendiniz yaptıysanız, cam kavanoza koyup mutlaka buzdolabında saklamalısınız. Ev yapımı mayonezler tamamen doğal olmalarından dolayı hazır mayonezlere oranla oldukça erken bozulurlar. Bu nedenle yapıldıktan sonra kullanıldıkları süreler dışında muhakkak buzdolabında tutulmalıdır ve 1 hafta içerisinde tüketilmelidir.
NOT: Hava almadığı için açılmamış mayonezlerin saklanma süreleri daha uzundur.
