Günümüzde giyim mağazalarında sıklıkla polyester montlar ve polyesterden yapılmış çeşitli giyim kıyafetleri bulunmaktadır. Polyester kumaşların daha dayanıklı olması, uzun süre kullanılabilir olması ve en önemlisi imalatının çok daha uygun fiyatlarda olması hazır giyimi polyesteri kullanmaya itmiştir.

Kesinlikle polyester montlarınızı yıkarken ağartıcı içeren deterjanlar kullanmayınız. Bu işlem polyesterin aşınmasına, renklerinde değişiklikler meydana gelmesine sebep olabilmektedir.
Meydana gelmiş olan lekeleri çıkarmak için ağartıcı içermeyen deterjanlardan yararlanmanızı tavsiye ederiz.
Doğal leke çıkarıcı özelliği olan sirkeden bu durumda yararlanabilirsiniz. Birkaç damla sirkeyi çamaşır deterjanı gözüne koyunuz ve bu şekilde polyester montunuzu durulayınız. Sirkenin parlatıcı özelliğinden dolayı montun rengi çok daha canlı olacaktır asla solma meydana gelmeyecektir.
3-)Asmayın
Polyester montu yıkadıktan sonra kesinlikle çamaşır ipine, çamaşırlığa asmayınız. Bu işlem montun şeklinde değişiklikler meydana gelmesine, sarkmalara neden olabilir. Yapılacak en güzel kurutma işlemi havadar bir yere bir havlu sermek ve bu havlu üzerine konularak montun kurutulmasıdır. Bu işlem esnasında sık sık montun yeri değiştirilmelidir.
Suyu iyice akan hafif nemli bir halde olan montu içerisindeki elyafları çok daha iyi kurusun diye en son aşama olarak çamaşırlığa asabilirsiniz. Burada asmaktan çok çamaşırlığa ağartıyormuş gibi bir pozisyonda montu çamaşırlığa yerleştiriniz.
