Sürekli Ateşim Var
Vücut ısısının normal seyrinden fazla olması, ateş olarak ifade edilir. Genellikle enfeksiyonel rahatsızlıkları takiben artış gösteren vücut ısısının bir çok nedeni olabilir. Zatürre, idrar yolu enfeksiyonu, grip, apandisit gibi pek çok rahatsızlığın neticesinde yüksek ateş şikayeti baş gösterebilir. Bu yüzden yüksek ateş durumunda dikkatli olunmalı ve ihmal etmeden uzman hekime danışılmalıdır.
Vücut ısısı her ne kadar bulunulan ortam gibi pek çok etkene bağlı olsa da, ortalama 34-37.9 derece civarlarında seyretmektedir. Isının 38 dereceden fazla olması, ateş olarak ifade edilir.Yetişkin bireylerde ateş(vücut ısısı) seviyesini ölçmek için termometre ile koltuk altı ve ağız kısmından ölçüm yapılırken, çocuklarda ise makat bölgesinden ölçülür.
Sürekli Yüksek Ateş
Sık sık yüksek ateş sorunu beliren kişiler; “sürekli ateşim var” şikayetinde bulunurlar. Sürekli ateşin olması söz konusu değildir. Vücut ısısının haddinden fazla olması yani yüksek ateş durumu, geçicidir ve mutlaka araştırılması gereken bir konudur. Sık sık ateşlenme halinde, sabah ve akşam günün her vakti vücut ısısı ölçümü kontrolü gerekli görülebilir. Bu yüzden bir an önce uzman hekime başvurarak, tetkiklere başlamakta fayda vardır.

Ateşi düşürmenin en etkili yollarından biri; ılık duş almaktır. Ne çok sıcak ne de çok soğuk suyun altına girmeden, duş almak vücudu dinlendirici ve ateşi düşürücü yöntemlerden biridir.
Kalın Olmayan Giysiler Tercih Edin
Vücut ısısı artış gösterdikçe, üşüme veya ürperti hissi oluşacaktır. Buna bağlı olarak ise vücut kendini daha çok hissetmek isteyecek, kalın kıyafetler giyme isteği meydana gelecektir. Ancak buna kanılmamalı ve ince kıyafetler tercih edilmelidir.
İlaç Kullanımı
Doktor kontrolü halinde alınan ilaçların kullanımına, ateş düşse dahi hekimin belirttiği vakte kadar devam edilmelidir. Her zaman belirttiğimiz gibi, kesinlikle bilinçsizce ilaç alınmamalı ve mutlaka doktor kontrolü altında ilaç kullanılmalıdır.
