Kabak Derin Dondurucuda Nasıl Saklanır?
Kabak derin dondurucuda çeşitli yöntemler ile saklanır. Kabağın tazeliğini korumak, uzun süreli saklanmasını sağlamak için kabağı dondurucuda direkt olarak saklamak yerine birkaç işlemden geçirdikten sonra saklamak gerekmektedir.
Kabağı derin dondurucuda saklamadan önce istediğiniz miktarlarda ayırınız. Daha sonrasında işinizi kolaylaştırmak için kabağı istediğiniz şekil ve büyüklüklerde doğrayabilirsiniz. Bu işlemin ardından aşağıda anlatılan yöntemlerden herhangi birini kullanarak kabağı derin dondurucuda saklayabilirsiniz.

1-)Şoklayarak Saklayın
Bu işlem kabağın bozulmasını önlemektedir. Burada yapmanız gereken kısa süre ile saklamak istediğiniz kabağı şoklama işleminden geçirmeniz.
Saklamak için doğradığınız kabakları kaynamakta olan suyu içerisine atınız ve iki dakika sonra bu suyu içerisinden alınız. Sıcak suyu içerisinden aldığınız kabakları hiç bekleme yapmadan soğuk suyun içerisine alınız ve burada da kısa bir süre bekledikten sonra alarak buzdolabı poşetlerine koyunuz.
Buzdolabı poşetlerinin havasını iyice aldığınızdan ve ağzını sıkıca kapattığınızdan emin olunuz. Aksi halde bu şoklama işlemine rağmen kısa süre içerisinde kabaklar bozulabilmektedir.
2-)Kavurarak Saklayın
Sıcaklık sayesinde kabakların bozulmasını önleyebilirsiniz. Burada yapmanız gereken doğramış olduğunuz kabakları orta sıcaklıkta bir tavada hızla kavurunuz. Kavurma işlemi esnasında kabakların dağılmasına sebep olmamak için çok fazla karıştırmaktan kaçınınız. Aynı zamanda yüksek sıcaklıkta muamele etmeniz kabağın yapısını bozabilir, kabak hızla dağılabilir bu sebeple orta sıcaklıkta pişiriniz.
NOT: Çok uzun süre saklanması gerekmeyen durumlarda kabakları güzelce yıkayıp durulayın. Bu işlemin ardından istediğiniz boyutlarda kestiğiniz kabakları kuruladıktan sonra buzdolabı poşetlerine koyarak derin dondurucuda saklayınız.
