Bu yöntem ile fazla suyun daha hızlı bir şekilde buharlaşmasını sağlayabilirsiniz. Bu sayede pirinçler aşırı pişip hamur olmadan kurtarılmış olabilir.
2-)Sütlaç ya da Yayla Çorbası Yapın
Lapa olan pilavın çöpe atılması artık tarih oldu. Yapacağınız birkaç kurtarma operasyonu ile lapa pilavınızı güzelce kullanabilirsiniz.
Yayla çorbası içerisinde fazla pişmiş pirinçleri kullanarak nefis bir çorba yapabilirsiniz ya da pirincin içerisine biraz daha yağ koyarak bu pirinçleri sütlaç yapımında kullanabilirsiniz.

Pilavın lapa olmasının en büyük sebeplerinden bir tanesi kullanılan suyun fazla olmasıdır. Bu sebeple konulan suyun pirinç ile orantılı olması gerekmektedir. Ölçülü pirinç ve su ile pilav yapılması tane tane olan pilavın püf noktasıdır.
