Riviera Zeytinyağı Nedir, Nerede Kullanılır?
Riviera yağı; basitçe açıklamak gerekirse, kullanılmayan rafine zeytinyağının içerisine %10 ila %20 kadar sızma zeytinyağı eklenerek kullanılan bir yağdır. Bu yağ aslında kullanılmayacak durumda olduğundan, işleme tabii tutularak kullanılır hale getirilmektedir.
Zeytinyağı çok tüketilen bir yağ olsa da, bazı kişiler bu yağın yemeklerde ya da salatalardaki tadından veya kokusundan hoşlanmazlar. Reviera yağı ise aslında bu konudan şikayetçi olan kişilerin sıklıkla kullandığı bir yağdır. Yani yemeklerde ve salatalarda rahatlıkla kullanılabilmektedir.

Riviera zeytinyağı ile sızma zeytinyağı arasındaki farkları daha kolay bir şekilde anlatmak açısından iki tür yağa da ayrı ayrı değinmemiz daha doğru olacaktır.
1-)Sızma Zeytinyağı
Sızma zeytinyağı olarak satılan yağlar, zeytinlerin toplanıp, belli bir mekanik işlemden geçirip yağının çıkarılmasıyla oluşan yağlardır. Bu yağlar kendi içlerinde de ayrılır ve çeşitli özellikleri vardır. Fakat sızma zeytinyağı kişilerin de kendilerinin de yapabildiği bir yağ olmasından dolayı yani yapımında herhangi bir kimyasala maruz bırakılmamasından dolayı doğal bir yağdır ve tüketimi faydalıdır da. Fakat ilk aşamada elde etmiş olduğunuz yağı tüketmeniz doğru olmayacaktır. Bu yüzden de rafine uygulaması yapılması gerekmektedir. Peki nedir bu rafine?
2-)Rafine Zeytinyağı
Rafine zeytinyağını kısaca anlatmak gerekirse, yapılan zeytinyağının asit seviyesi fazla olduğundan direkt olarak tüketilememektedir. Rafine zeytinyağı dediğimiz ise zeytinyağının asit miktarı düşürülerek tüketime hazır hale getirilmesidir.
3-)Riviera Zeytinyağı
Riviera zeytinyağı, sızma zeytinyağına göre daha 3., 4. Derecede kabul edilen bir yağdır. Görmüş olduğu işlemler neticesinde genelde tercih edilmesinin en büyük nedeni yağın kokusu ve tadının sızma zeytinyağına göre daha yumuşak olmasıdır.
Zeytinyağı Nasıl Muhafaza Edilmelidir?
1-)Güneş Işığına Temas Etmemelidir
Yağların güneş ışığına direkt olarak maruz kalması yağın bozulmasına sebep olmaktadır. Bu yüzden yağınızı muhafaza ederken güneş ışığı almadığına dikkat etmeniz gerekir.
2-)Hava Almaması Gerekmektedir
Belki de zeytinyağı muhafaza ederken dikkat edilmeyen ayrıntılardan biri de yağın sürekli olarak hava ile temas etmesidir. Aslında genel bilgi olarak zarar vermediği düşünülse de bu aslında yanlıştır. Her kullanım sonrasında zeytinyağı şişesinin ağzını kapatmalısınız. Özellikle bulunduğu ortam kokulu bir ortam ise hava almasıyla birlikte bu koku yağa da bulaşacak ve yemeklerinizin tadında ve kokusunda değişikliklere sebep olacaktır.
3-)Cam Şişelerde Muhafaza Edin
Dışarıda satılan yağdanlık dediğimiz şişeler bile cam olarak üretilmektedir. Cam, içindeki gıdayı doğru ve sağlıklı bir şekilde muhafaza eden nadir ürünlerden biridir. Bu yüzden mümkün olduğunca saklama kaplarında cam tercih etmeye özen göstermelisiniz.
