Süzme Yoğurttan Maya Olur mu?
Süzme yoğurt suyunun süzülmesinden dolayı mayalanmamaktadır. Yani süzme yoğurt kullanarak yoğurt mayalayamazsınız. Günümüzde insanların artık daha doğala yönelmesiyle herkes kendi yoğurduğunu kendisi yapmayı tercih etmektedir. Fakat bilmeyenler için yoğurdun hazırlanma evresi karışık olabilmektedir.

Süzme yoğurt adından da anlaşılacağı üzere sulu bir yoğurt değildir. Akışkandır fakat yoğurdun suyu bulunmamaktadır. Yoğurt mayalarken, maya için ayırdığınız kısmın sulu olması önemlidir. Yoğurdun daha güzel tutmasına sebep olur.
Yoğurt mayalamak kolay bir işlemdir fakat dikkatli olmak gerekmektedir. Yeterli özen gösterilmediğinde yoğurt istenilen kıvama ulaşmamaktadır. Peki bu dikkat edilmesi gerekenler nedir diye soracak olursanız;
- Süt kaynamaya başladıktan sonra 5 dakika ila 10 dakika kadar daha kısık ateşte kaynatmaya devam etmelisiniz.
- Bu arada kullanacağınız mayayı da cam bir bardağın içine alarak, süt kaynayınca kadar bekletebilirsiniz. Bu şekilde mayalanma işlemi daha hızlı gerçekleşecektir.
- Mayalama işlemi süt kaynarken ya da kaynama sıcaklığında yapılmamalıdır. Kaynattıktan sonra sütün altını kapatın ve ocaktın alın, biraz soğumaya bırakın. Bu arada altından itibaren tencereyi sarmayı unutmayın. Bu şekilde soğumasını beklemeniz daha doğru olacaktır. Tencereyi koyduğunuz yer korunaklı ve güneş almayan bir yer olduğuna emin olmalısınız.
- Soğuduğunu anlamak için ise parmağınızı ucundan süte sokmalısınız. Eğer parmağınız yanmıyorsa, mayalama işlemine geçebilirsiniz demektir.
- Mayalama işleminde isterseniz mayayız azar azar birkaç yerden kaşıkla dikkatli bir şekilde süte bırakabileceğiniz gibi, tek bir yerden de mayalama yapabilirsiniz. Karıştırma işleminde ise sütün kaymağını bile bozmayacak şekilde dikkatlice karıştırmanız gerekmektedir.
- Bekleme süresinde kesinlikle yoğurdun bulunduğu tencerenin kapağını sürekli olarak açmamalısınız. Süt ve süt ürünleri bakteri biriktirmeye müsait ürünler olduğundan çabuk bozulabilmektedir. Bu yüzden iyi bir şekilde muhafaza ettiğinizden emin olmalısınız.

Her açıdan ev yapımı olan yoğurt ile hazır yoğurt arasında farklılıklar vardır. Bunun sebebi ise hazır yoğurdun içerisinde bulunan katkı maddeleridir. Yoğurt zaten faydalı bir üründür fakat ev yoğurdunda bu faydaları daha iyi görürsünüz.
- Mide ve bağırsak sağlığını korumaktadır. Evde yapmış olduğunuz yoğurdun içerisinde hiçbir katkı maddesi bulunmadığından, satın alınan hazır yoğurtlara nazaran bağırsak ve midemiz için daha faydalıdır.
- Ev yapımı yoğurt, hazır yoğurtlara göre kişilerin sinir sistemini düzenleyici etkisi bulunmaktadır. Özellikle korktuğunuz ya da stresli olduğunuz zamanlar yoğurt yemeniz halinde bu stresin geçmesine katkı sağladığını kolaylıkla kendiniz de görebilirsiniz.
- Diş ve kemik sağlığını güçlendirmektedir.
- Kolesterol düzenleyici etkisi vardır.
- Özellikle kilo vermede etkilidir. Vücudun yağ yakmasına büyük oranda yardımcı olmaktadır.
