Bu nedenle haşlanma süresi konusunda oldukça dikkatli olunmalıdır.
Yeşil Mercimek Haşlama Süresi Ne Kadardır?
1-)Çorbada Kullanımı
Yeşil mercimeği çorba yapımında kullanacaksanız, öncelikli olarak kara suyunu çıkarmanız gerekir. Bu işlemi uygularken aynı zamanda haşlama işlemini de uygulamış olursunuz. Çorbada kullanmak üzere yeşil mercimekleri yeterli büyüklükte bir tencerenin içine alarak üzerini geçecek miktarda su ile doldurun. Daha sonra ise 15 ila 20 dakika arasında yeşil mercimekleri haşlayın. Haşlama işleminin ardından ise çorbaya koyacağınız diğer malzemeleri de kullanarak yeşil mercimekleri 5-10 dakika daha pişmeye bırakın.
Bu işlemleri düdüklü tencere kullanarak uygulayacaksanız süreler kısılacaktır ve bu oranlara dikkat ederek yeşil mercimekleri düdüklü de en fazla 15 dakika kadar tutmanız gerekir. Dikkat etmeniz gereken bir diğer nokta ise yeşil mercimekleri haşlamak için kullandığınız suyu yani mercimeğin kara suyunu kullanmadan dökmeniz gerektiğidir.
2-)Salatalarda Kullanımı
Yeşil mercimek salatalara oldukça güzel bir lezzet katmaktadır. Ancak salata da kullanılacak olan yeşil mercimekler çok fazla haşlandığında dağılacağı için hoş bir lezzet ve görünüm sunmaz. Bu nedenle salatalarda kullanımı için yeşil mercimeklerin çok fazla haşlanmaması gerekir. Salatada kullanmak üzere tencereye alınan yeşil mercimekler 8-10 dakikadan daha fazla haşlanmamalıdır.
3-)Bulgur Pilavında Kullanımı
Yeşil mercimekli bulgur pilavı yapmak için öncelikle mercimeklerin haşlanması gerekir. Bunun için ise bir tencere içerisinde bol su ile yeşil mercimeklerin 15-20 dakika kadar haşlanması gerekir. Bu işlemin ardından normal şekilde bulgur pilavı yapılır ve bulgur ile birlikte yeşil mercimeklerin de tekrar 15-20 dakika kadar daha pişmesi sağlanır.
NOT: Süreler yeşil mercimeklerin cinsine ve çeşitli faktörlere göre küçük farklılıklar gösterebilir. Bu farklılıkların en temel nedenlerinden bir diğeri de sizin damak zevkinizdir.
