1 Litre Zeytinyağı Kaç Kg Zeytinden Elde Edilir?
1 litre zeytinyağı elde edebilmek için yaklaşık olarak 5 kg zeytin toplanması gerekmektedir. Fakat sadece zeytin toplamakla da bitmiyor. Aslında zeytinyağının evlerimize kadar ulaşma hikayesi oldukça uzundur. Zeytinin toplanması, işlenmesi, yağının alınması, doldurulması.
Günümüzde özellikle doğal olmasından dolayı çok sık tercih edilen zeytinyağının nasıl hazırlandığını aşağıdaki yazımızda bulabilirsiniz.

Biraz önce de bahsetmiş olduğumuz gibi zeytinyağını elde etmek için tek yapılması gereken işlem zeytinleri toplamak değildir. Bu konudan kısaca bahsetmek gerekirse, zeytin 3 evreden oluşur ve bu evrelere göre değerlendirilir. Yeşil, pembe ve siyah. Aslında zeytinin en doğal en lezzetli olduğu dönem yeşil olduğu dönem olarak bilinir. Evet oldukça lezzetlidir fakat eğer yağını kullanacaksanız, bu evrede toplanan yeşil zeytinlerden fazla bir yağ elde etmek mümkün olmamaktadır.
Yukarıda bahsetmiş olduğumuz gibi normalde 1 litre zeytinyağı için 5 kg zeytin yeterli olurken, eğer bu zeytin yeşil ise toplanması gereken zeytin yaklaşık olarak 10 ila 15 kg arasında değişiklikler göstermektedir.
Yeşil zeytinler için toplamadan önce bir süre daha beklerseniz, bu zeytinlerin rengi pembemsi bir renge bürünecektir. İşte bu evredeyken toplandığı zaman yeşil zeytine nazaran yine fazla bir şekilde yağ elde edilir fakat zeytinin asıl yağının çıkarıldığı evre siyah halidir. Bu evrede çıkarmış olduğunuz yağları yemeklerde, kahvaltılar ya da sos olarak rahatlıkla kullanabilirsiniz fakat doğal bir ürün olmasından dolayı muhafaza koşullarına dikkat edilmelidir.
Zeytinyağı Nasıl Muhafaza Edilmelidir?
- Zeytinyağı için belirtmek gerekir ki, koku hapsedici özelliği vardır. Yani bulunduğu ortamda kötü kokular varsa bu koku zeytinyağınıza da bulaşacak ve yağın bu şekilde kokmasını sağlayacaktır. Aynı şekilde tadında da değişikliklere sebep olacaktır. Bu yüzden muhafaza edildiği ortamında mümkün olduğunca kokusuz, rutubetsiz, serin ve karanlık bir ortam olması önemlidir.
- Kesinlikle güneş ışığına temas etmemelidir. Zeytinyağı hassas bir ürün olduğu için güneş ışığı direkt olarak bozulmasına sebep olacaktır.
- Zeytinyağınızı plastik bir kapta saklamak yerine teneke kutuları tercih edin. Böylece tadı ve görüntüsü herhangi bir değişikliğe uğramadan muhafaza etmiş olursunuz.
Zeytinyağının Faydaları Nelerdir?
Aslında zeytinyağı çok faydalı bir yağdır. Saça, cilde, bağışıklık sistemi ve sindirim sistemine oldukça faydalıdır. Çeşitli alternatif yöntemler ile saç ya da cilt besleyici olarak kullanabileceğiniz gibi gün içinde aşırıya kaçmadan da tüketebilirsiniz.
