Sakral Gamze Tedavisi
Sakral gamzesi olan yenidoğalarda genellikle 6 aylık olan bebeklerde MR çekilir. MR dan çıkan sonuca göre bebeklere gerekli teşhis konulur.
Özellikle sakral gamzesi olan yenidoğanlarda;
- Gergin omurilik sendromu
- Lumbal ve sakral spinal kanallarda tıkanıklıklar
- Spina bifida gibi ciddi rahatsızlıklar var olabilir.
Bu sebeple en kısa sürede sakral gamze incelenmeli ve altında yatan sebep bulunmalıdır. Çoğu hastalarda sakral gamze altında yatan ciddi bir rahatsızlık bulunmamaktadır. Kişiler kuyruk sokumunda bulunan bu gamze ile yaşamına devam edebilirler.
Ancak ciddi omurilik rahatsızlığı olan yenidoğan bebeklerde mutlaka cerrahi müdahale gereklidir. Uzman doktorların koyduğu teşhis üzerine bebeğin omurilik gelişimi tamamlanmadan ya da belli bir süre geçtikten sonra ameliyat şarttır.
