Haşlanmış Patatesin Bozulduğu Nasıl Anlaşılır?
Patates 1500’lü yıllarda keşfedildikten sonra mutfakların vazgeçilmez yiyeceklerinden biri olmuştur. Birçok farklı şekilde birçok çeşidi hazırlanabildiği için herkese cazip gelmektedir. Pratikliğinin yanı sıra ekonomik olması da sık tüketilen besinler arasında yer almasında oldukça etkili bir nedendir.
Birbirinden farklı sofralarda rahatlıkla yer alan patates özellikle kahvaltılarda haşlanarak tüketilmesi sıklıkla tercih edilir. Belli başlı rahatsızlıklarda da haşlanmış patates oldukça iyi gelir. Bunlar ve daha bir çok nedenden dolayı patates tüketimi oldukça fazladır. Bu kadar sık tüketilen yiyeceklerin ise bozulup bozulmadığı anlamak önem taşımaktadır. Aksi takdirde zehirlenme gibi istenmeyen durumlara yol açabilir. Patates aylarca dayanabilen bir besin olsa dahi bozulma noktası olacaktır. Özellikle patates gibi pişmeden önce dışarıda saklanabilen besinlerin piştikten sonra bozulma süreleri kısalır.
1-)Bakarak
Haşladığınız patatesler haşlamadan önce filizlenmeye başlamış ise raf ömrü zaten kısalmış demektir. Bu nedenle filizlenmeye başlayan patateslerinizi haşladığınızda yemediğiniz süre boyunca mutlaka hava almayacak şekilde buzdolabında saklamalısınız. Raf ömrü uzun olan patatesleri bu şekilde saklamak daha uzun süre dayanmalarını sağlar. Ancak buna rağmen patatesin üzerinde kararma ya da pamukçuk gibi beyazlıklar görüyorsanız, patates bozulmuş demektir.
2-)Koklayarak
Patates çok sık tüketilen bir yiyecek olduğu için patates kokusu bilinen bir kokudur. Tüm aşamalarda patatesinizi saklama koşullarına dikkat ettiğiniz halde, buzdolabında duran haşlanmış patatesin kokusu ağırlaşmaya başlamış ise bozulmaya başlamış demektir. Ağırlaşmasının yanı sıra burnunuza ekşi ve keskin bir koku geliyorsa bu durum da bozulduğuna işaret eder. Bu durumdaki patatesi tüketmemelisiniz.
3-)Tadarak
Bozulmuş besinleri tüketmek insan sağlığı açısından oldukça tehlikeli bir durumdur. Ancak çok düşük miktarlarda olumsuz durumlara sebebiyet vermezler. Bu noktada yediğiniz miktar gerçekten çok önem taşımaktadır. Bozulmuş olabileceğini düşündüğünüz haşlanmış patatesten çay kaşığının ucu gibi küçük bir miktar alın. Bu küçük miktarın tadına bakın ve bir değişiklik fark ederseniz, ağzınızdaki patatesi de çıkararak patatesleri evinizden uzaklaştırın.
NOT: Haşlanmış patatesler haşladığınız suyu ile birlikte dolapta 2 gün boyunca bozulmaz. 2 günden sonra patatesin saklanma koşullarına ve kalitesine göre her patatesin bozulma süresi farklılık gösterir. Bu nedenle patatesten farklı bir durum ile karşılaştığınızda rahatlıkla patatesin bozulduğunu anlayabilirsiniz Patatesi daha uzun süre saklayabilmek için çatlatmadan haşlamaya dikkat edin.
