Bulgur köfteleri buzluktan çıkarılmak istenildiği takdirde, ilk olarak poşetin içinden yavaşça ve dikkatli bir şekilde çıkarılıp daha sonra suyla ıslatılarak bir tabağın veya tepsinin üzerine konulup iyice çözünmesi beklenmelidir. İyice çözünen bulgur köfteleri pişirilmeye hazır hale gelmiş olacaklardır.
2-)Limon suyu ve Limon tuzu ile Saklama
Bulgur köftesi buzlukta saklanırken normal yönteme ek olarak uygulanabilecek bazı ekstra şeylerde mevcuttur. İlk önce bir kasenin içine biraz su ve yarım çay bardağı limon suyu ve de bir miktar limon tuzu konularak karıştırılmalıdır. Daha sonra bulgur köftesi hazırlandıktan sonra hazırlanan tüm bulgur köfteleri sırasıyla bu karışıma bandırılarak tepsiye dizilmelidir. 3-)Yağlı Kağıt ile Saklama

Bulgur köfteleri hazırlandıktan sonra birkaç adet yağlı kağıt bulgur köftelerinin büyüklüğüne göre parçalanmalıdır. Her bir parça bir köfteyi sarabilecek büyüklükte olmalıdır. Daha sonra her bir parça veya hazırlanan her bir bulgur köftesi iyice yağlanarak yağlı kağıt bulgur köftesine sarılmalıdır. Bu işlemin ardından yağlı kağıda sarılmış olan bulgur köfteleri poşetlenip buzlukta muhafaza edilmelidir.
