Çayda Kafein Var mı?
Gün içinde tükettiğimiz içeceklerin çoğunda az miktarda da olsa kafein bulunmaktadır ve çayda da kafein vardır. Fakat çayın içinde bulunan kafein, kahve de bulunan kafein miktarından az olduğu için gözle görülür bir etkilenme meydana gelmemektedir.

Çayın içindeki kafeinin miktarını etkileyen çok fazla etken bulunmaktadır. Çayın çeşidi, nasıl ve ne kadar demlendiği gibi. İçtiğimiz siyah çay dışında diğer çay çeşitlerinin çoğunda kafein bulunmamaktadır.
Kafeinin İnsan Vücuduna Etkileri Nelerdir?
Kafein, alındığı doza da bağlı olarak insan vücudunda hissedilir etkileri bulunmaktadır. Az miktarda alındığı takdirde bu etkiler zararlı olmamaktadır. Bu etkilerden bahsetmek gerekirse;
- Kafein, sinir sistemini uyarıcı bir maddedir. Mideden kana karışır ve kişinin vücudunda bulunan enerjiyi yükselterek dinç kalmasını sağlamaktadır. Bu yüzden gece uyku problemi yaşayan kişiler daha dinç olabilmek için gün içinde sık sık kahve tüketmektedirler.
- Sindirim sistemini çalıştırmaktadır. Özellikle kabızlık yaşayan kişilerin Türk kahvesi tüketmesi önerilmektedir.
- Az miktarda alınan kafein konsantrasyonu arttırır.
- Eğer baş ağrınız kronik değilse, az miktarda tüketeceğiniz kahve ya da çay, baş ağrınızın geçmesini sağlayacaktır.
Kafein fazla miktarda alındığı zaman ise etkileri daha farklı gözlemlenebilmektedir ve aynı zamanda bu şekilde kafein tüketimi sağlık açısından da tehlikelidir.
- Fazla miktarda alınan kafein kalp çarpıntısına sebep olabilmektedir.
- Yine kafein reflü hastaları için önerilmemektedir. Fazla miktarda alınması halinde ise bu hastalığı tetiklemektedir.
- Yine kalp çarpıntısına bağlı olarak, kafein vücutta titremelere yol açabilmektedir.
- Kafein, adrenalin hormonu salgıladığı için fazla miktarda alınması durumundan anksiyeteye sebep olabilmektedir.
- Hem fazla miktarda hem de uzun süre kafein alınması sonucunda kas krampları ya da kasılmaları meydana gelebilmektedir. Daha çok parmaklarda görülen bu durumda, parmaklar 10 saniye kadar kitlenebilmektedir.
- Sarhoşluk etkisi yaratabilmektedir. Bu etkiden kısaca bahsetmek gerekirse, kişi konuşulan konudan bağımsız o an düşündüklerini dile getirebilir, düşünmesi gerekenden çok farklı şeyler düşünüp ona göre davranabilmektedir.
- Bir fincan kahve ya da çay ile bile gidilmesi gerekenden daha sık tuvalete çıkılabilmektedir. Fazla miktarda tüketildiğinde ise kişilere sistit rahatsızlığı etkisi yaratarak neredeyse dakikada bir tuvalete gitme ihtiyacı hissettirmektedir. Bu da su kaybına sebep olabilmektedir.
- En bilinen etkisi ise uykusuzluktur. Özellikle akşamları çok fazla çay ya da kahve tüketimi sonucunda uykusuzluk meydana gelebilmektedir. Daha çok kahve içilmesi ile karşılaşılan bu durumda, kişiyi rahatsız ederek kabus görmesine de sebep olmaktadır.
