Göğüs Kafesi Altında Şişlik
Göğüs kafesi altında şişlik sorunu, kişinin paniğe ve endişeye kapılmasına yol açmaktadır. Endişenin nedeni; şişliğin çok ciddi rahatsızlıklarla ilintili olabileceği ihtimalinin akıllara getirilmesidir. Ancak göğüs kafesi altında farkedilen her şişlik, çok ciddi rahatsızlıkların habercisi olmayabilir. Kimi zaman farkedilen şişlik, basit bir yağ bezesi olabilmektedir.

Yağ Bezesi
Yağ hücrelerinin cilt altında birikmesi sonucunda oluşan yumuşak kist, yağ bezesi olarak bilinmektedir. Genellikle yumuşak yapıda olan yağ bezlerinin üzerine dokunulduğuna hareket ettiği farkedilir. Yağ bezleri her ne kadar zararsız olsalar da, büyümeleri sonucunda çevresindeki sinirlere baskı uygulayarak ağrıya sebebiyet verebilmektedirler. Göğüs bölgesi, vücutta en çok yağ bezesi görülen alanlardan biridir.

Göğüs kafesinin bir çok hayati fonksiyonu gerçekleştiren organı, dış etkenlerden koruduğundan bahsetmiştik. Genellikle apandisit veya safra kesesi iltihaplanmasına işaret eden şişlik, pek çok ciddi sağlık sorunlarının habercisi olabilir. Farkedilen şişliğin yağ bezesi olmadığı düşünülüyorsa, gerekli tetkik ve teşhis için bir an önce uzman doktora başvurulması tavsiye edilir.
