Göğüs Kafesinde Kemik Çıkıntısı
Göğüs kafesinde kemik çıkıntısı ya da göğüs kafesindeki kemiklerin içeri doğru eğilmesi çok sık rastlanılan bir rahatsızlıktır. Halk arasında güvercin göğüs olarak bilinmektedir. Göğüs kafesinde kemik çıkıntısı oluşumu yani güvercin göğüs rahatsızlığının en sık görülme sebebi ani büyümeye bağlı oluşmaktadır.
Büyüme çağındaki çocuklarda çok sık görülen bu rahatsızlık, hızlı boy atmaya bağlı olarak kemiklerde meydana gelen deformasyon sonucu oluşmaktadır.
Göğüs kafesinde kemik çıkıntısı aynı zamanda;
- Solunum yollarında meydana gelen rahatsızlıklarda da çok sık meydana gelmektedir. Solunum yolları hastalıklarının göğüs kafesinde kemik çıkıntısı oluşturma mekanizması tam olarak açıklanamasa da katkısı olduğu bilinmektedir.
- Kemikler anne karnında iken kıkırdak yapıdadır. Bu durum gelişim çağından itibaren değişmektedir. Kıkırdak yerini kemikler almaya başlar. Göğüs kafesinde kemik çıkıntısı oluşumunun bir diğer sebebi de göğüs kafesindeki kıkırdakların fazla gelişimidir.
Göğüs Kafesinde Çıkıntı
Göğüs kafesindeki çıkıntı genellikle göğüs kafesinin oluşumunu sağlayan kemiklerde meydana gelen bir bozukluktan kaynaklanmaktadır.
Sternum olarak adlandırılan göğüs kafesinin tam orta bölgesindeki kemikte çıkıntı meydana gelebilir ya da göğüs kafesini oluşturan kaburga kemiklerinden kaynaklı çıkıntı meydana gelebilir.
Göğüste meydana gelen çıkıntılar geçici olarak travmalardan kaynaklı meydana gelebilmektedir. Bu durum ciddi ağrı yapmaktadır. Ağrıya morarma ve kızarıklıklar eşlik edebilmektedir.
Tüm bunların dışında büyüme çağındaki çocuklarda kemiklerde meydana gelen aşırı büyümeden kaynaklı olabilmektedir.
Bu durumda kişi çok sık ağrı yaşamaktadır. Ufacık bir darbede de dahi kişinin göğüs bölgesinde bir ağrı meydana gelebilmektedir.
Bu tarz göğüs kafesindeki kemik çıkıntısı durumu cerrahi müdahale gerektirebilmektedir. Cerrahi müdahale ile kişinin deforme olan ya da aşırı büyüme gerçekleşen kemik düzeltilir. Genellikle bu tarz ameliyatlarda platin takılır.
Göğüste meydana gelen deformasyona bağlı platinin vücutta kalım süresi belirlenir. Göğüs eski halini aldıktan sonra belirli bir süre içerisinde platin cerrahi müdahale ile çıkarılır.
