Hurma Nasıl Saklanır?
Tropikal, ılıman ve çöl iklimlerde yetişebilen bir ağaç türüne ve bu ağacın meyvesine hurma adı verilmektedir. Hurma besin değeri açısından oldukça zengin bir meyvedir. İçerisinde birçok vitamin ve mineral bulundurmaktadır. Vitamin olarak A vitamini, B1 vitamini, B2 vitamini, B3 vitamini, B6 vitamini ve K vitamini içermektedir. Bunların yanı sıra mineral açısından da zengin olan hurma sodyum, potasyum, kalsiyum, demir, bakır, magnezyum, manganez, fosfor ve çinko minerallerini içermektedir.
İçerdiği vitamin ve minerallere ek olarak da meyve şekeri açısından da oldukça zengin bir meyvedir. Hurmanın içerdiği besin değerlerinin zenginliği ise hurmanın birçok konuda faydalı olmasına neden olur. İçerisinde hiç kolestrol bulundurmamasından dolayı özellikle kalp ve damar sağlığı açısından büyük bir koruyucudur. Bunun yanı sıra sindirim sistemini düzenleme, göz sağlığını koruma, cilt sağlığını ve kemik sağlığını koruma birçok alanda da faydası gözlemlenmektedir.
Bu kadar lezzetli ve yararlı olan hurma meyvesi oldukça dayanaklı bir meyve olmasına karşın uygun şartlarda saklanmaması durumunda bozulabilir. Bu nedenle hurmanın saklanma koşulları oldukça önemlidir. Hurmanın saklanma koşullarında dikkat edilmesi gereken en önemli konu hurmanın ne tür bir hurma olduğudur.
Hurma Nasıl Muhafaza Edilir?
1-)Kuru Hurma
Kuru hurma ülkemizde en çok tüketilen hurmadır. Kuru olmasından dolayı saklanması da diğer çeşitlerine göre çok daha kolaydır. Kuru hurmayı saklamak için 0 ila 10 derece arasında sıcaklık olması en idealidir. Bununla birlikte hurma rutubetli ortamlarıda sevmektedir. Bu şekilde daha uzun süre muhafaza edebilirsiniz. Bunun için hurmalarınızı bir saklama kabına ya da buzdolabı poşetine yerleştirin. Nemlenmemesi için kağıt havluya sararak da hurmaları yerleştirebilirsiniz.
Hurmanın kendi kutusu olması durumunda hiç bir işlem uygulamadan doğrudan kutusundan yararlanabilirsiniz. Hurmaları uygun ortamı sağlayabilmek için buzdolabınızın sebzelik kısmına yerleştirin. Daha sonra tüketmek istediğinizde 5 dakika kadar önceden çıkararak uygun kıvama gelmesini sağlayabilirsiniz.
2-)Yaş Hurma
Yaş hurma kuru hurmaya oranla çok daha fazla su oranı içerdiği için bozulma oranı da çok daha yüksektir. Bu nedenle yaş hurmaları mutlaka buzlukta saklamak gerekir. Yaş hurmalar buzdolabında ya da dışarda kalması durumunda bozulmaya başlar. Meyve şekeri açısından da zengin olan hurma bozulmaya başladığında kurtlanmaya başlar. Bu nedenle yaş hurmanın buzdolabının dondurucu kısmında saklanması oldukça önemlidir.
Böylece bozulma durumunun önüne geçilmiş olur. Bunun için yaş hurmaları ya kutusunda ya da uygun bir saklama kabı veya buzdolabı poşeti içerisinde buzluğa yerleştirin. Daha sonra tüketeceğinizde yeterli miktarda çıkararak 10 dakika kadar bekleyip tüketebilirsiniz.
