Karayemiş Nasıl Saklanır?
Gülgiller ailesine ait olan karayemiş bitkisi beyaz renkli küçük çiçekler açan bir bitki türüdür. Karayemiş rutubetli ve gölge yerlerde gelişimini sürdürürken 5 ila 15 metreye kadar boy verebilir. Yaprak dökmeyen bir bitki türü olana karayemiş aynı zamanda meyvesi ile de aynı adı taşımaktadır.

Ancak buna rağmen ülkemizde en çok yetiştiği bölge ise karadeniz bölgesinin doğu kısımlarıdır. İnsan sağlığı için birçok faydası bulunan karayemiş meyvesi özelikle şeker hastaları için mucizevi bir meyvedir. Karayemişi taze bir meyve olarak yani yaş olarak saklamak mümkündür. Ancak bu şekilde saklama ömrü çok uzun olmayacağı için bu yöntem sadece hasat zamanlarında uygulanabilecek olan bir yöntemdir. Bunun için karayemişleri uygun bir saklama kabına ya da cam bir kavanoz içerisine koyarak kapağını sıkıca kapattığınızdan emin olun. Daha sonra hazırlamış olduğunuz bu kabı ya da kavanozu buzdolabına yerleştirin. Bu şekilde karayemişi buzdolabında 7 güne kadar tazeliğini koruyarak saklamanız mümkündür.
2-)Kurutarak Saklama
Kurututarak saklama yöntemi karayemişler için en çok kullanılan yöntemdir. Kurutma yöntemi sayesinde karayemişi yıl boyunca tüketmek mümkündür. Bunun için karayemişleri mevsiminde toplamak gerekir. Mevsiminde olgunlaşma sürecini tamamlamış olarak toplanan karayemişler güneş ışığı altında temiz bir hava da toplanır. Havanın temiz olmaması durumunda ise üzerine tülbent serilerek kurutulmalıdır. Bu işlem kuruma süresini uzatsa da çok daha sağlıklı bir şekilde kurumasına neden olur. Bu şekilde kurutulmuş olan karayemişler cam kavanozlara doldurularak saklanmalıdır.
3-)Hava Şartları
Hava şartları karayemişleri sağlıklı bir şekilde uzun süre saklayabilmek için mutlaka dikkat etmeniz gereken noktalardır. Bunun için öncelikli olarak hava sıcaklığını kontrol etmeniz gerekir. Karayemişler çok sıcak havalarda çok daha kısa sürede bozulur. Bu nedenle serin ortamda saklanması gerekir. Bunun yanı sıra havanın nem ve rutubet oranı, karayemişlerin uzun süre saklanabilmesi için oldukça önemlidir. Karayemişler rutubetli ve nemli ortamlarda çok daha uzun süre muhafaza edilebilir.
