Elma Sirkesi Nasıl Saklanır?
Elma sirkesi günümüzde yalnızca mutfakta değil temizlikte ve kişisel bakımda da kullanılan bir malzeme haline gelmiştir. Aromasının ve özelliğinin uzun süre korunabilmesi için sirkenin saklanma koşullarına dikkat edilmesi gerekir. Elma sirkesinin saklarken dikkat edilmesi gereken noktalar şunlardır:
- Saklandığı kabın cam olması, aromasının uzun süre muhafaza edilebilmesi bakımından son derece önemlidir.
- Kendi içinde asitli bir malzeme olduğu için, metal içerikli kaplarda ya da şişelerde saklanması uygun değildir.
- Kapağı her kullanımdan sonra mutlaka sıkıca kapatılmalı, sirkenin hava ile teması önlenmelidir.
- Buzdolabı, saklama ortamı olarak son derece uygundur ancak serin erzak dolaplarında da saklanabilir. Eğer uygun şartlar sağlanır ise sirke bir yıldan daha uzun süre aynı tazelikte kalacak ve bozulmayacaktır.
Elma sirkesi kokusu ile bozulup bozulmadığını belli eder. Keskin sirke kokusu yerine yoğun bir nem ya da küf kokusu geliyorsa, o sirkenin artık kesinlikle kullanılmaması gerekir.
Kaliteli Elma Sirkesi Nasıl Olmalı?
Sirkenin kalitesini belirleyen iki faktörden ilki, sirke yapımında kullanılan elmaların kalitesidir. İkinci faktör ise sirkenin üretim yönteminin nasıl olduğudur. Bunlara ek olarak sirke yapılırken eklenen ürünler, sıcaklık, üretim ortamı ve su kalitesi gibi etkenler de sirke kalitesinin belirlenmesinde etkilidir.
Doğal yöntemler ile üretilmiş olan (fermente) sirke, meyvelerin temizliğine de dikkat edilerek hazırlanmış ise bedene oldukça fayda sağlar. Ancak fabrikasyon üretimde, fermantasyon durumu da söz konusu olamaz ve sirke, bir şifa kaynağı olmakta çıkar.
Doğal Sirke Nasıl Anlaşılır?
- Ev yapımı sirkede, fabrikasyon sirkeler kadar keskin bir koku bulunmaz. Tadı tamamen doğal meyve tadından gelir.
- Doğal sirkenin içinde bulunduğu şişenin dibinde, az da olsa bir tortu bulunur. Bu tortu, doğal yöntemlerle üretilmiş sirkelerin ayrıştırılmasında önemli bir faktördür. Eğer şişenin dibinde bir tortu birikmemişse, kokusu çok keskinse ve asetik asit kokusu çok fazla ise bu sirke büyük olasılıkla fermantasyon ürünü değildir ve satın alınmamalıdır.
- Doğal olarak üretilen sirke, çalkalandığında bulanık bir hal alır ve az da olsa köpüklenir. Meyvenin aroması ya da kokusu doğal sirkede hissedilebilir.
- Doğal olarak üretilen sirkede, kapağı açıldıktan sonra hava aldığı için yüzey bölümünde barlanma meydana gelebilir. Bu durum fermantasyon sürecinin devam ettiğinin göstergesi olduğu gibi sirkenin doğallığının da bir belirtisidir.
- Doğal şekilde elde edilen sirke, son kullanma tarihine sahip değildir. Zaman geçtikte kokusu ve tadında daha fazla güzelleşme söz konusu olacaktır.
