- 1. Aşama: Öncelikle şekerin bir tencerede iki su bardağı ilave edilerek kaynatılması gerekir. Krem tartar ayrı bir kapta suda eritilip diğer karışımla birleştirilmelidir. Bu iki karışımı kaynatıp köpüklerinden arındırılmalıdır. Köpük bir kağıt yardımıyla alınabilir.
- 2. Aşama: Nişasta su ile ezilmelidir. Topaklanma giderilip diğer hazırlanan kaynamış karışıma eklenmelidir. Ardından hazırlanan karışım katılaşana dek kaşıkla karıştırılmalıdır.
- 3. Aşama: Hindistan cevizi veya damak zevkine göre eklenen fındık veya fıstık tepsinin üzerine serpilip lokum dökülmelidir. Oluşan kıvamı düzeltip tekrar hindistan cevizi dökülmelidir. Soğuduktan sonra kare şeklinde kesilip servis yapılabilir.
