Halı Yıkandıktan Sonra Neden Sararır?
Halılarda sararma, yıkama sonrasında ortaya çıkabilen can sıkıcı bir durumdur. Bu durumun temel nedeni, yıkama sonrasında halı kılları arasında kalan bakteriler ya da yeniden üreyen bakterilerdir. Bu bakterilerin engellenebilmesi için halının kurutma aşamasına çok dikkat edilmelidir. Olabildiğince kısa sürede kurutulan halılarda, bakteri sorunu ortadan kalkacak ve bu da halının sararmasını engelleyecektir.
Halıda Sararmanın Nedenleri Nelerdir?
- Bakteriler haricinde başka nedenlerle de halılarda sararma sorunu ortaya çıkabilmektedir. Özellikle halının evde yıkanması sonrasında suyunun sıkılamaması ya da yeterince iyi şekilde durulanmaması sonucunda sararmalar bölgesel olarak ortaya çıkabilmektedir. Halıların yıkama işlemi sonrasında kurutma öncesinde fazla suyunun bir şekilde alınması – ki bu işlem için piyasada makineler mevcuttur – halının kuruma süresini hızlandırır ve su birikintileri nedeniyle oluşan sararmaların da önüne geçer.
- Halı yıkama işlemi esnasında kullanılan kimyasal içerikli halı şampuanları, halıda sararma yapabilir. Bu nedenle halı şampuanı rastgele değil, kullanım koşullarına uygun olarak kullanılmalıdır. Şampuandan kaynaklanan sorunlarda, bu konu ile ilgili araştırma yapılması ve şampuanı üreten yahut şampuanın satın alındığı firma ile iletişime geçilerek sorunun bildirilmesi faydalı olabilir.
Sararan Halılara Doğal Çözümler
Doğal temizlik ürünlerinin kullanımı geçtiğimiz yıllarda gittikçe artmaya başlamıştır. Bunun nedeni kimyasal ürünlerin hem insan cildine hem de halıların kıl yapısına zarar vermesidir. Deterjanlar kimyasal içerikleri nedeniyle birkaç kullanım sonrasında, halının yumuşaklığını alabilir ya da bahsi geçen sararmalara neden olabilir. Bu nedenle doğal yöntemler kullanılarak oluşan sararmalara müdahale etmek, halının eski haline dönmesine yardımcı olabilir.
Halılarda kahve ya da çay dökülmesi sonucunda oluşan sararmaların hafifletilmesi ya da ortadan kaldırılabilmesi için sıcak limonlu su kullanılabilir. Hazırlanan bir kap sıcak suya bir limonun suyu sıkılarak sararan bölge bu karışımla silinebilir.
Kullanılabilecek olan bir başka doğal yöntem ise karbonattır. Yine sıcak veya ılık suya bir miktar karbonat eklendikten sonra halıdaki sararmış kısım temiz bir bezle silinip kurumaya bırakılır. Kuruma sonrasında lekenin ortadan kaybolduğu görülür.
Halı Temizliğinde Püf Noktalar
Halıların yıkanması oldukça zor ve emek gerektiren bir iştir. Günümüzde artık halı yıkama işlemleri, çeşitli firmalar tarafından yapılmaktadır. Ancak bu firmalardan bazıları halıları baştan savma temizleyebilmektedir. Bu nedenle halılar bir firmaya teslim edilecek ise bu firma çok iyi şekilde araştırılmalıdır.
Halı yıkama evde yapılacaksa, her yıkama ve sabunlama işlemi sonrasında kirli suyun halıya temas etmediğinden emin olunmalıdır. Durulama sonrasında halı rulo haline getirilerek dik konumda suyu süzdürülmelidir. Yatay konumda bırakılan halılarda sararma meydana gelme olasılığı oldukça yüksektir. Ortalama 1 saat kadar suyu süzdürülen halı en kısa zamanda kurutulmalı, mümkünse duvar ya da kalın bir ip üzerine atılarak havalı bir biçimde kuruması sağlanmalıdır.
