Kuru Tarhana Nasıl Saklanır?

Nohut, buğday unu gibi tahıllar ve yoğurt içeriğindeki temel ürünler olmakla beraber çeşitli baharatlar ve sebzeler ile hazırlanmaktadır. Yöresel özelliklere göre içeriği de değişen tarhana yaz kış tüketilebilen, hemen hemen her hastalıkta tedavi edici özellikte olan bir çorbadır.
İçeriği ile beraber bölgeye göre çeşitlenen tarhananın ekşisi, sakızlısı, yaşı, kurusu, tatlısı gibi çeşitleri bulunmaktadır. Yöresel ve içerik farklılıkları ile oldukça fazla çeşidi olan tarhana her mevsim tüketilebilme özelliğinden dolayı içeriğini ve kalitesini koruması adına dikkatli bir şekilde muhafaza edilmelidir. Bozulmaması için çeşitli muhafaza yöntemleri olan tarhana için muhafaza ederken en dikkat edilmesi gereken nokta ise kuru bir ortamda saklanarak küflenmesinin engellenmesidir. Bu yüzden tarhanayı plastik ya da cam kavanozlarda muhafaza etmek yerine pamuklu bez bir kese ya da kalın bez keseler tercih edilmelidir. Böylelikle havadaki nemi çekerek küflenmesi engellenmiş, aromasını uzun süre korumasına da katkı sağlanmış olur.
Karanlık Ortamda Saklama Yöntemi
İster cam kavanozlarda ister bez torbalarda olsun tarhanayı muhafaza ederken doğruda gün ışığı almamasına dikkat edilmelidir. Rutubetsiz ve karanlık ortamda tarhanayı rahatlıkla muhafaza edebilirsiniz.
Cam Kavanozda Saklama Yöntemi
Tarhanayı cam kavanozda saklama yöntemi için az miktarda olan tarhananızı tercih etmelisiniz. Fazla miktarda olan tarhana için uygun olmayan bu yöntemde özellikle tarhana muhafaza edilen cam kavanozun kapağının sıkı olmasına dikkat edilmelidir. Ve tüketilecek miktarda tarhanayı aldıktan sonra kavanozun kapağının hemen kapatılmasına dikkat edilmelidir. Çünkü kalitesi ile lezzete, sağlığa ve kıvama etki eden tarhananın nemlenerek küflenmesi ve bozulması engellenmelidir.
Buzdolabında Saklama
Gün ışığı ve nemden uzak tutularak saklanması gereken tarhanayı saklama yöntemlerinden bir diğeri de buzdolabında muhafaza yöntemidir. Cam kavanozda ya da bez torbalarda muhafaza edilen tarhanayı dolabınızın uygun yerinde uzun süre muhafaza edebilirsiniz.
