- 1.5 Lt Şarap (İki Şişe),

- Baharatları kavurmakla başlayın. İsteğinize göre kavurmamayı da tercih edebilirsiniz. Baharatları kuru bir tavada orta ateşte hafifçe koyulaşana kadar ve koku bırakana kadar bir iki dakika süreyle kavurun. Bu şekilde baharatların aromaları ortaya çıkacaktır. Baharatın çeşidi ve aroması şarabın lezzetinde çok büyük değişiklikler yaratacaktır. (Meyve veya zencefil gibi gıdaları kavurmayın)
- Şarabı paslanmaz çelik veya yapışmayan maddelerden yapılan tencerelerde pişirin. Sıcak şarap yapımında kullandığınız asidik malzemeler tencerenizin iç tabakasını soyabilir ve tencerenizi kullanılmaz hale getirebilir.
- Kavrulmuş baharatları tencerenize alın. Muskatları küçük parçalar halinde kırıp karanfil ve zencefillerle birlikte tencereye ilave edin. Çubuk tarçını da koymayı unutmayın. Portakalı ve limonu ikiye kesip tencerenize ilave edin. Katı gıdalarla çok fazla uğraşmak istemiyorsanız suyunu sıkıp kabuklarıyla birlikte tencereye koyabilirsiniz. Meyveleri ikiye bölüp koyduğunuzda kabukla meyve arasındaki beyaz kısımlar şarabınızın tadını acılaştıracaktır. Bu yüzden ikinci yöntemi uygulamanızı tavsiye ederiz.
