Toz Zencefil Nasıl Saklanır?
Zencefil zencefilgiller ailesine ait olan ince ve uzun yapraklara sahip olan sarı ve kırmızı renklerde çiçek açan bir bitki türü ve bu bitkinin köküne verilen bir isimdir. Boyları 1 metreye kadar uzayabilen zencefil bitkisinin kökleri yumru şeklindedir ve mutfaklarda zencefil baharatı olarak kullanılır. Buna ek olarak ilaç sektöründe de zencefil bitkisinin kök yumruları kullanılmaktadır.
Zencefil çok yıllık uzun ömürlü bir bitkidir. İçerdiği vitamin ve mineraller ile birlikte birçok besin değeri bulundurmaktadır. Bu nedenle insan sağlığı açısından en değerli bitkiler arasında ilk sıralarda yer almaktadır. Vitamin olarak C vitamini ve B6 vitamini içeren zencefil mineral olarak da sodyum, potasyum, kalsiyum, demir ve magnezyum içermektedir. İçerdiği bu besin değerlerinin yanı sıra boğaz ağrısına, kuru öksürüğe, regl ağrılarına, şeker hastalığını öneleme, şeker seviyesini dengeleme ve kötü kolesterolü düşürme gibi faydalarının da olduğu bilinmektedir.
Bu nedenle özellikle de soğuk kış aylarında zencefil tüketimi oldukça önemlidir. Hastalıkların yaygın olduğu kış aylarında zencefil tüketimi hastalıklardan korunmak adına oldukça etkilidir. İnsan vücudu için bu kadar faydalı olan zencefili tüketmek için de çok fazla yöntem bulunmaktadır. Bunları toz zencefil olarak ve taze zencefil olarak iki ana başlık altında toplamak mümkündür. Her iki şekildeki zencefil içinde farklı saklama şekilleri uygulamak gerekir. Toz zencefili saklamak için uygulanabilecek yöntem ise 1 tanedir.
Toz Zencefil Nasıl Saklanır?
1-)Kurutma İşlemi
Öncelikli olarak zencefil kökünden toz zencefil elde edebilmek için zencefil bitkisinin kök yumruları iyice yıkanır ve ardından da uygun kurutma yöntemleri kullanılarak kurutulur. Taze zencefili güneş ışığında kurutmak çok daha sağlıklı bir sonuç almanızı sağlayacaktır. Havada bulunan toz zerrelerinden zencefili korumak için ise tepsinin üzerini tülbent gibi ince bir bez ile örtebilirsiniz.
2-)Toz Hale Getirmek
Kurutma işlemini uygulamış olduğunuz zencefilleri toz haline getirerek saklama konusuna hazırlık yapmanız gerekir. Bu aşamada dikkat etmeniz gereken nokta ise zencefilin ne şekilde kurutulduğudur. Eğer ince halkalar şeklinde keserek kurutmuş iseniz zencefili öncelikli olarak bir havan yardımı ile zencefilleri dövmeniz gerekir. Ardından da mutfak robotundan geçirerek tamamen toz hale getirmelisiniz. Eğer zencefilleri kuruturken rendeleyerek kuruttuysanız doğrudan mutfak robotundan geçirebilirsiniz.
3-)Saklanma
Toz zencefil mutlaka cam kavanozlar içerisinde saklanmalıdır. Aynı zamanda da rutubetsiz güneş görmeyen bir ortamda saklanması gerekir. Bu noktalara dikkat edilmesi durumunda toz zencefil 3 aya kadar tazeliğini korur. Bu süreç içerisinde belli aralıklar ile kavanozun kapağı açılarak toz zencefil havalandırılmalıdır.
