- Sütün ideal mayalanma sıcaklığı 45 derecedir. Bu 45 dereceyi ise anlamak için, ev hanımlarının sıklıkla kullandığı serçe parmak testini uygulayabilirsiniz. Burada sadece serçe parmağınızı kaynatmış olan sütün içinde tutun ve 7 saniye kadar bekletebiliyorsanız, bilin ki ideal sıcaklığına ulaşmıştır sütünüz.
- Daha sonrasında ise yoğurduğu, temiz olduğuna emin olduğunuz kavanozun içerisine dökün. Bu esnada sütün ılık olmasına özen göstermeniz gerekmektedir.
- 1 litre süte 1 yemek kaşığı maya olacak şekilde ayarlamanızı yaptıktan sonra, dikkatli bir şekilde kavanozun aşağısına mayayı bırakabilirsiniz.
- Bu şekilde ağzını sıkıca kapattıktan sonra, üzerine polar ya da kalın örtüler örterek soğumaya bırakabilirsiniz.
NOT: Yoğurdunuzu maksimum 6 saat sonra buzdolabına koymanız gerektiğini hatırlatalım. Aksi takdirde alması gereken oda sıcaklığında fazla kaldığında bakteri biriktirmeye başlayabilir ve yoğurdunuz ekşiyebilmektedir.
Yoğurdun Bozulduğu Nasıl Anlaşılabilir?
Yoğurt sütten üretilen bir gıda olmasından dolayı, doğru bir şekilde muhafaza edilmediğinde ya da uzun bir süre oda sıcaklığına maruz bırakıldığında bozulabilmektedir. Bu durumu engellemek için öncelikle her zaman hava ile teması engellenmiş bir şekilde buzdolabında saklamak gerekmektedir.
